New concert dates have been added to the Concert section of Martin's website today and we're delighted to announce that on the 11 July, Martin will be appearing with one of the finest, if not THE finest, slide guitar players on the planet, Indian Classical musician, Debashish Battacharya. It is almost ten years since Martin last worked with Debashish, at which time they toured the US together, to huge acclaim. Martin is hoping that they will be joined by Debashish's brother, Subhasis Battacharya, an amazing, viruoso tabla player. This will be a VERY special concert so get your tickets soon!

We're really sorry that Martin had to cancel two concerts at the end of last week - one in Andover and one in Rome! - due to a pneumonia scare, but we're extremely pleased to say that he's making a good recovery and will be back on the road for this Friday's concert in Stockton. Hopefully both the Andover and Rome concerts can be re-arranged for the future. Apologies to disappointed fans and thank you for all the good wishes that we have received. They all make a difference!

Two last minute places have become available on Martin's workshop this May, due to two participants changing their places to the September Workshop because of work commitments. We're delighted to announce that Martin has been invited to appear at London's Albert Hall, on July 20th as part of the prestigious season of 'Proms' concerts. Also on the bill will be Bellowhead and Bella Hardy. This is the first time that Folk Music has been included in the programme and we're hugely excited that Martin will be performing.
