Martin is delighted to have been nominated a record SIX times in the 2010 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards!
“True Stories”, released earlier this year has been a huge success with fans and critics alike and it's wonderful to have that recognition in the run up to the Award's ceremony itself. The winners will all be announced on Monday February 1st 2010, at the glitzy ceremony at The Brewery in London, with the highlights being broadcast in a special Mike Harding Show on Radio 2 on Wednesday 3rd February.

Martin has been nominated for;
Folk Singer of the Year
Musician of the Year
Best Album - 'True Stories'
Best Traditional Track - 'Sir Patrick Spens'
Best Original Song - 'Home Again' and also for 'One Day', co-written with Martin Taylor.

Martin said earlier "I am totally delighted by these nominations and particularly touched for the nomination of the song, 'One Day', which I co-wrote with Martin Taylor. I'm really looking forward to attending the Awards ceremony in February and am completely excited at the response to my past and current work."
